Part two

New Zealand

Next stop on our road trip is Lake Tekapo. Tekapo is about 3hrs drive south-west of Christchurch.

Church of the Good Shepherd

On the shore of Lake Tekapo is this cute little church, well worth braving the cool night air to get a shot with some stars in the background.

Checking out the view of the southern alps over Lake Tekapo

Today we decided to check out a boutique ski hill in Lake Tekapo called Round Hill, this was one of my favourite places, so so beautiful. There was plenty of space for beginners like me to practice and for the more adventurous (not meπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚) you can head up the worlds longest and steepest rope tow and check out Australasia's biggest vertical drop (783m) 😱

This little hut is at the top of the T-bar, you can chill out up here and have a beer before you tackle the slopes

Von Brown Hut

The view from the top of Roundhill looking over Lake Tekapo

After a hard day skiing we headed down the mountain and jumped in the hot pools at Tekapo Springs, perfect to soak my poor aching body after falling off my skis a million times πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ There are 3 pools which all different temperatures ranging from 36-40 degrees.

The view from the top of Mt John observatory.

Mt John observatory over looks Lake Tekapo and the Southern Alps, it's an awesome spot to watch the sunset and then do some star gazing.

Lake Pukaki

Lindis Pass, beautiful at anytime of the year

Lauren always walks in front of my camera when I'm trying to shoot! Typical

Flying over Lake Wanaka in these old tiger moths was totally epic

The sheep even formed a 'S' for me

Wanaka is the perfect place to do your first sky dive, the views are so amazing that it takes your mind off the thought of jumping out of a plane πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

That famous Wanaka Tree

Heading up to the Cardrona ski field

This is why you always need to ski with a camera on hand, these views are insane.

A huge thank you to Air New Zealand
