Helen Lake Banff National Park #StellerWalk

To hike in the Canadian Rockies is something that I'll never tire of. It's the most peaceful and relaxing experience that I can imagine.

I timed the hike into Helen Lake perfectly as the alpine wildflowers were at their peak. It is always a fleeting moment and I was very happy to catch this beautiful site.

The six kilometer hike into Helen Lake is one of the most diverse and beautiful in all of Banff National Park.

Cirque Peak in the background is a great scramble to get a great view of the lake and the surrounding mountains.

Looking off into the Siffleur Wilderness.

Helen Lake and the trail below.

There is plenty of beautiful glacier water flowing near the trail as you go along.

Everywhere you look there are beautiful flowers, even the smallest of ones are able to survive in this harsh climate and short growing season.

A perfect spot for lunch!

It's always amazing to watch the weather roll in over the mountains.

The End
