I'm Trisha. Nice to meet you. Let me introduce myself:
I'm self employed. When you're your own boss, it's tough to understand your own job description. Lines become blurred & you tend to lose sight of who you really are, what you've achieved & why you chose this life of self employment in the first place. I'm in the tough process of re-writing my own job description...it's a self awareness of the utmost kind. I've been self employed for 15 years! It's truly time to rewrite & redirect my focus on my job, my employees & ultimately on my professional versus my private life. When I began to try & separate my work life from my personal life I went to my Pinterest quote board & my Instagram feed for reference. What I found there were inspiring words by others & images of myself over the last few years. It struck me how much of an oxy-moron I can be. One day a business owner, one day philosopher, one day grungy camper...next day chicken keeper but always a loving wife & mama. Life after 40 has taught me to live life on purpose & to the fullest. I thought: "I wonder what people think of me through these words & pictures; do they know who I REALLY am? DO I?" So, here I go...using #steller as a method for further #selfie discovery. Maybe my journey will encourage you on yours....
Who do you think I am from the outside? It may be nothing like who I actually am on the inside. This is the problem with earthly eye sight. We assume too much & depend on fashion or beauty products.
What a strange thing it is to suppose that beauty is goodness.
Do you ever feel like people have put you in a box & labeled you? I do. It's like they've taken away your right to self express... or your need to grow. No one likes to be judged & broken down into fractured simplicity.
People will always have their opinions of you despite who you are & what you are capable of.
Sometimes people around you won't understand your journey. They don't need to, it's not for them.
"You never really understand a person until you consider things from his point of view until you climb inside his skin & walk around in it."
So, do as I'm doing... discover your own story.
"To live with purpose, to say the courageous thing, to celebrate the simple gift, to follow your dreams this is a happy life." -WALAND HENRY
Be yourself! No one can say you're doing it wrong.
Never seek your importance through the standards of the world. Know your worth & WHO gave it to you.
You are valuable because you exist. Not because of what you do or what you have done, but simply because you ARE. -Max Lucado
Because in the end:
"You have to do what is right for yourself, no one else is walking in your shoes."
Thanks for coming along with me on this journey. It's taken many little moments along the process of weeks to re-write my life's "Job-description". But, It was worth every moment!#awakenyourself #seewhatisee #stellerselfie #steller #stellerstory #inspiration #quotes #selfdiscovery
