I have just stepped off the plane from the most AMAZING trip to Austria! I was working for the Australian office of Tourism Austria as their first professional instagrammer. My itinerary was the best I've ever been on, I can't wait to share it all with you! Part one.

On the day I landed I walked out of the train station from the airport and this was my first sight. What a gorgeous church and check out those flowers. πŸ’πŸŒΈπŸŒ·πŸŒΉπŸŒΌ

After a bit of a nap I met up with instagrammer @LadyVenom , one of the best things about Instagram is that I can reach out to people I've met on the platform and hang out!

Marion took me to this city palace that is usually closed to the public. Total local perk! I shot this on my 14-24mm lens lying flat on my back in the courtyard.

Marion also took me to the rooftop bar at the Sofitel for great drinks, snacks and views!

After saying goodbye to my new friend I left with a list of "must-do's" on my last half day in Vienna. That's right, I had just one day in Austria's capital.

The best advice I got was to check out SchonbrΓΌnn palace which is absolutely green and beautiful!

The gardens of SchonbrΓΌnn were absolutely free to explore but the maze was 5€. It was totally worth it!

The next recommendation was to jump off the metro and walk back to my hotel via the Naschmarkt, the local market. πŸ“πŸ“πŸ“

I love the public transport system in Austria, I left Vienna on the train and within four hours I had arrived in Innsbruck. The first two days were quite cloudy but I thoroughly enjoyed my shooting and touring. Here are some wet weather highlights ...

In wet weather I'm always looking for special little moments. Raindrops, umbrellas, reflections, fog and white out's plus some creative indoor shooting.

In Austria part two I'll show you what happened when the weather turned good. β˜€οΈβ˜€οΈβ˜€οΈ
