The highest, free standing mountain of the Austrian Alps and whole Europe.

Life is all about new experiences, whether you like them or not, they’re essential. The experience told here was nothing short of incredible... Two summits in two days – always starting to hike in the middle of the night so that we are on top on time when the sun shows up. No sleep but smiles. Some pain but gratefulness. A splitboard adventure at home!

Due to the icy conditions and steepness we had to climb up mostly with crampons & ice axes. Sadly there are no images of the earlier climb...

...because no one wanted to stop the focused pack. Three hours into the climb we did a short break around 5 AM just when the last steep part was done.

Then we went further into that pitch-dark new moon night...

...and suddenly the colors started to change fast.

Walking on the edge. Sometimes the only route to keep the dream alive.

The "blue hour" full on with the summit in sight.

"I just wanna go on more adventures. Be around good energy. Connect with people. Learn new things. Grow."

Kid Cudi

After roughly six hours through the night we made it on top in time.

And got rewarded with stunning views.

And finally...

The sun came out. It was priceless to watch and put a smile in our faces.

Everything was wrapped into new colors – again.

Hello from the ridge! Photo by Stefan Filzmoser. Thanks buddy!

Stefan going down.

Just a quick selfie with that impressive mountain face...

...and down we go!
