ST. ANTHONY MAIN

a timeless wander

Minneapolis is a city built on the great Mississippi River. Utilizing the natural water power of the St. Anthony Falls, Minneapolis quickly became the capital of the milling industry in the upper Midwest in the early 19th century, and was at one point the largest producer of flour in the world.

Only the ruins of the mills remain today, while others have been converted, but the Mississippi beats on. The combination makes the area, St. Anthony Main, a place for a timeless wander (but here's what it might have looked like a century ago).
