MARKET DAY Cape Town South Africa May 2015

Oranjezicht

An urban farmers market with organic produce. Held in the grounds of Villa Zille, the residence of the Premiere of the Western Cape, South Africa, Helen Zille.

The market moved to Villa Zille as the City ruled it could not be held at its original venue - the Oranjezicht City Farm.

Fresh Crown Pumpkins.

You can't beat a good laugh.

The national flower of South Africa, the King Protea.

Flowers galore.

There were dawgs from Darg too.

And posh locals.

Looked very smart.

Shirley Fintz

The market moves to Granger Bay on the V&A Waterfront, Cape Town, from June. It returns to Villa Zille, in beautiful Oranjezicht, in Summer 2015.
