Caption: Panna cotta is one of the famous Italian desserts. Easy to make and some new exciting flavour can be added to that. To take it to a next level just add some crushed amaretti biscuits, fresh strawberries or other fruits and garnish with edible flowers. Then take your guest's breath away!

Caption: The finest edible flowers are viola, borage, dianthus, rose, orange calendula, cornflower, chives, and chrysanthemum. Always use freshly picked, specially and safely selected, free from herbicides flowers to avoid poison! If you're not 100 % confident in their source don't eat them!

Caption: Ingredients:
Served 4
300 ml double cream
200 ml whole milk
50 g sugar
1 unwaxed lemon zest
1 pack vegetarian gelatin powder or 3 gelatine leaves
1 teaspoon of vanilla paste

Caption: Method:
Pour the milk and cream into a pan . Add sugar, vanilla paste and lemon zest then bring to boil.
Meanwhile soak the gelatine leaves according to the instruction on the pack. If you prefer vegetarian gel just put the powder into a small bowl and add some tbsp hot milk mixture. Stir well until smooth then pour to the milk mixture and simmer for 1-2 minutes.

Caption: Then discard the lemon zest and divide between the moulds or jars. Leave to cool to room temperature than keep in the fridge until served. Before serving put the amaretti biscuits into a mortar and crush with a pestle.
Sprinkle over the top of jars evenly then add some fresh fruits or just edible flowers. Serve immediately.
