A love story

I absolutely LOVE salsa! The smell and taste are linked to the happiest memories for me. It usually signifies a get-together with friends, sharing food, drinks, stories and laughs. This is my first attempt at salsa and I have to say it is pretty fantastic. Enjoy, share and create happy memories!

BLACKBEAN SALSA RECIPE 6 Medium Vine Ripe Tomatoes 1 Bunch of Cilantro 5 Cloves of Garlic 1/2 Medium Red Onion 1 Red Pepper 3 Limes * 1 Green Jalapeรฑo Pepper 1 Cup Blackbeans 1/2 Cup of Sweet Corn 1 Tsp Salt 1 Tsp Black Pepper 2 Tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil (* only use 2 limes if using a citrus reamer or press)

Dice the tomatoes

Roughly chop the cilantro

Mince the garlic

Finely chop the pepper and include some or all seeds for more heat (I included all seeds, I like it spicy.)

Dice the onion

Chop the pepper

Add the blackbeans and sweet corn

Squeeze the juice from limes (I stab the lime with a fork first to get the most juice out, if using a citrus reamer or press only use 2 limes)
