February has been unusually hot. The floor to ceiling windows making up the west side of our home isn’t so appealing when the inside is 80 degrees.
Sea air, salty marshes, damp, cool trails, wild birds - Batiquitos Lagoon.
The heat and the rush of the day ebbs away as you walk into the glorious golden light of the sun going to rest on the ocean.
The coolness of the marsh draws you near to view the birds saying good night to the day.
We leave as the stars wink hello and stillness comes.
