Traditional Scottish Porridge

These are what have been tiding me over mornings - oatmeal. I've eaten countless bowls, but this really takes it all to a whole new elevated level.

What you need: 1/3 c rolled oats 1 c liquid (water + milk or either of) Pinch of sea salt 1 tbsp maple syrup

In a pot, combine all ingredients except maple syrup. Cook over medium-low heat for 10-15 mins, stirring occasionally to prevent clumping. Afterwards, add maple syrup and stir to combine. -

Decorate as wished pomegranate berries nuts -

Enjoy.
