Alexandra Nurseries ~ Penge
Sometimes I just love a quiet Sunday. Take a walk in the crisp winter air and stop by somewhere beautiful for a hot drink. This is one of my favourite places to relax.
Auld Lang Syne
Traditionally, evergreens were used to decorate homes through the winter to remind us of warmer times to come.
In times gone by the Druids hung Holly around doors and windows to ward off evil spirits and witches!
Plants for shade
Something Warming. Hot drinks served in vintage crockery.
Eat, drink and be merry. Delicious food including gluten free options.
The run up to Christmas is really exhausting. That's why I appreciate the times I can just let the stress go and take in the surroundings.
The nurseries are housed in an old caretaker’s office and maintenance workshop which has stood empty since the 1960's. It is now a eco-friendly vintage home and garden ware shop with a philosophy that favours low impact living and support for local suppliers and crafts people. www.alexandranurseries.co.uk
