this weekend we took an impromptu trip to LA. on saturday morning we explored the Getty. it was only 10am but it was already hot and bright as we ascended the hill in the museum's tram.
inside, each wing has art from the middle ages to today to discover outside, the museum itself is a piece of art that offers lots of fun opportunities for getting creative with your photos + videos
straight and curved lines, rough and smooth surfaces, structures and spaces, light and shadow all interact with each other in the architecture.
it was a lot fun looking for interesting shots and trying to line up the lines.
as we walked out i turned to take one last look and found my favorite spot and shot of the day
we boarded the tram to descend. i snapped the attendant with his parasol striding by...reminds me just how bright and hot it was up there.
the doors closed and the tram brought us down. looking out the window, interstate 405 wound below southward back into the city. we'd be one of those cars in just a moment. :)
