I spent my twenties in San Francisco. These are a few of my favourite places. That saying about leaving your heart in San Francisco...I get that.
Make the Ferry Plaza farmers market your first stop in San Francisco to stock up on picnic supplies and gorgeous flowers.
Stock up on goodies at the farmers market, rent a bike at the ferry building and head to Crissy Field for a beach picnic.
Head to the DeYoung for one of the best views of the city. It's free to take the elevator to the 9th floor tower.
Head to 2877 California street for my favourite Chinese food in San Francisco. Lunch is the best deal in town and not to be missed.
BLUE BOTTLE COFFEE
Four Barrel coffee's affogato. Get it!
Collage on Potrero Hill features local artists handmade works & vintage finds.
People will always argue about the best burrito in San Francisco...I stand by the super veggie burrito at Taqueria Cancun. Just avoid the bathrooms at all costs.
My favourite afternoons involved a burrito and taking in the views on Bernal hill or a walk at Fort Funston.
You'll enjoy San Francisco more with a tiny car when it comes to finding parking.
Recently moved to Fisherman's wharf you'll find the mechanical museum where quarters get you some amazing entertainment. I miss it's previous location at Ocean Beach but still a favourite stop for me.
