I took advantage of a Thursday off of work to go to a new brunch spot in my neighborhood. My mom, sister in law, and nephew joined me at Engine Company No. 3. The new venture of one of our favorite chefs and longtime family friend, Engine Company No. 3 takes its name from the fire station it repurposed. Decorated with memorabilia donated by the local fire museum and serving food from local farms, this is already a new favorite.

An antique life net. Curtesy of the Milwaukee Fire Museum.

The original floorboards remain intact.

An old seal decorates the host stand.

The second floor, reserved for parties.

I was so blown away by the space that I didn't even take any pictures of the food, which was equally amazing. I guess that just means I'll have to go back...

Until next time, Engine Company No.3.
