Surfing in the arctic isn't always as comfortable as California or Australia. Sometimes it requires sitting up in a blizzard and hoping your car doesn't get caught in the snow while you're surfing.

The only problem with getting out there was mind over matter. Regardless of the perfect waves, your body just wants to stay in the warmth of the car.

The sights you see while surfing in the arctic speak for themselves.

Fires at the end of each day were a great way to recall the days events and, of course, to keep warm.
