The Collective Quarterly is a new travel and design magazine that parachutes into one place per issue to uncover the mystery and the magic there.
For Issue Ø, we traveled to Marfa, Texas, a strange and wonderful town of artists in the Chihuahuan Desert.
We took with us a team of artists and craftspeople who were looking for inspiration.
John Mooty, from Faribault Woolen Mill, went to find ideas for a new blanket he wanted to make. In the pages, you see the landscape and textures that inspired him, you hear about his design process, and you can even buy the blanket if you want to.
