ROOM TO ROAM The perfect way for everyone to stretch their legs is with a stroll, jog or shuffle through the Palais Royal gardens (as seen on the cover). It boasts fountains, beautiful flower beds, illustrious arcades and a wondrous break from the city's din.
The National History Museum
Few museums in the world can say they promise an experience that truly satisfies the tastes of children and adults in equal measure but this fascinating museum at one edge of the Jardins des Plantes delivers just that. Who doesn't love dinosaurs? Free entry for the under 26 crowd.
"Let me say I find this grand foyer to be a large and beautiful room and I have a feeling that I'm not the only one to share that opinion."
Steps and colors
What engages kids at the gilded Opéra Garnier? Loads of steps, vivid colors and fun stories of yesteryear when an evening at the theater was a place to see and be seen.
Rain or shine
Don't underestimate the fun that can be had by climbing Montmartre's many steps (and think of the exercise!)

SCORE THE BEST VIEWS
The top lookout point which happens to be blessed with ample space for kids to chase pigeons.... a simple but evidently entertaining activity.
LA GRANDE ROUE ----- A project of the 1900 world's fair in Paris, la grande Roue (ferris wheel) makes its urban appearance during the summer at the mini amusement park in the Tuileries gardens and again in the winter. A ride on the Ferris wheel offers a beautiful overview for kids with the added fun of a ride.
Arc de Triomphe
For one of the most breathtaking views of the city, and one which includes the Eiffel Tower, make a beeline for the Arc de Triomphe. Have your camera at the ready.
