JARDIN DU LUXEMBOURG
Paris, Spring 2014
It's hazy this morning, and the second day in a row it's too warm for a coat. I'm jittery from too much caffeine. I should have had breakfast. By the time I arrive at the Jardin du Luxembourg, there's a crowd. Most of the green chairs that pepper the well manicured grounds are occupied by couples or colleagues having an early lunch. One man is kicked back in his chair - mouth open, sound asleep. There's a riot of color, and the early blooming flowers wave hello to spring in the gentle breeze.
