These are some of my favorite small towns in Washington! 1. Union, located out on the Hood Canal is the perfect place to go from the water to the mountains in under five minutes. 2. Snohomish is roughly 45 minutes from Seattle and is the perfect little farming town with downtown located on the Snohomish River. Here in the fall? Visit the many pumpkin patches and corn mazes. 3. Issaquah has the feel of a city but is on the outskirts of the suburbs. Want the true small-town feel here? Walk down Front Street. Some of these buildings have been around since the early 1900s. 4. Poulsbo, get the feel of being in Norway without leaving the US. 5. Kingston is a quick ferry ride from Edmonds, a 30-minute drive from downtown Seattle. It won't take long to explore Kingston but make it a day trip and drive down to Poulsbo before heading back to Seattle on the Bainbridge ferry.
