Seeing penguins in photos or documentaries is amazing, but nothing compares to experiencing them in the wild - and yes, even smelling them! If you get up close to the colonies, you'll be surprised by how strong the smell is. To me it’s truly mind-blowing how these cute little creatures thrive in such harsh and cold conditions all year round. I’m beyond grateful for this once in a lifetime experience.
