The coast of Santa Maria is made up of several coasts that alternate sandy beaches, pebble beaches and small pristine bays. Many stretches of coast are equipped with establishments that offer all services while others are left as free beaches. The sea waters are crystal clear and have been repeatedly awarded the title of the Blue Flag.
