MEMORIES & ADVENTURES
IN
WILDLIFE
PHOTOGRAPHY
,

That time when I strapped all
my gear to a motorbike of
sorts to traverse a Sumatran
Rainforest.
,
Putting my faith in the renowned
workmanship of the local construction
crews!
,
PRICELESS
Yet the payoff was invariably
,
THAT COLD!
I Never Thought Indonesia To Be
,
Or that time I spent 6 months on a
project throughout Southern Africa...
,
IN A LANDROVER
NAMED ‘PIG’
Resplendent with AK47
bulletholes!
,
,
But ‘Pig’ always got me to where I
needed to go. For sure it creaked and
complained but I aways managed to get
the shot.
,
AND AT TIMES
PIG BECAME MY PROTECTOR
,
THE
OCEAN
However has always been the one place
where I have truly felt at home, at peace,
content...
,
Where after being somewhat economical
with the truth set me up for a lifetime of
adventure.
,
Witnessing how Mother Nature benefits
from our madness...
,
,
Often in the presence of majestic
predators. Misunderstood....
,
AND ALL TOO OFTEN
PERSECUTED
,
BUT
At times
when the
Ocean was
too rough or
the wildlife
too evasive, I
would turn
my lens to the
things most
often
overlooked.
,
,
,
Finding beauty and intricate wonders in
places we would so often take for
granted.
,
AND THE RIDE
IS FAR FROM DONE
,
As this roller coaster of a ride we call
‘Life’ is far from over....

To be continued!
