Heron Island is a 2 hour boat ride to the outskirts of the Great Barrier Reef. The BEST snorkeling we’ve ever done EVER. Sharks, turtles, rays and the clearest waters...1 week just wasn’t enough
Able to take big blue over the ferry and camped out for a few days. Snorkeling wasn’t great but the wildlife and hikes made up for it ...over 500 koalas on the island alone...
