I’ve fallen out the habit of sharing
these #shotsoftheweek stories over the
last few weeks, but I started this year
with the intention of sharing a story
for each week, and even though I’m now
on week twenty six, which is all the
way back at the end of June (yes, I have
a bit of catching up to do!), these
stories now feel like a record of these
often strange weeks of 2020. Week
twenty six is a short story, and
started with a birthday as Harris
turned nine on June 22. There was an
evening walk at the ash lagoons as the
sun glowed gently over the Forth, and
also a walk along the sea front in
another gorgeous, gentle sunset.
