Week 27 was a big week as lockdown
rules were relaxed in Scotland on July
3 to allow us to travel again. I’m sure I
don’t need to tell anyone here how
great that felt. We spent that weekend
down the coast, getting back to our
favourite walks at John Muir Country
Park. We were struck by how much the
landscape had changed since our last
walks here in March, when it had still
looked like winter. The first walk, on
the Saturday, was below gloomy skies,
while Sunday brought sunshine. It felt
as if the landscape was just bursting
with life.
