Strasbourg is the capital city of the Grand EST region, in northern France. Near the German border, with culture and architecture blending German and French influences.
A visit to the Christmas Market is a must. Yes, seeing all the adorable holiday decor on the building is wonderful, but you can send a good amount of the day at the market, too. This is the Christmas market I discovered my favorite candy, Haribo ropes.
I highly recommend the tour in the Dome. You are able to go up the tower and see Strasbourg from a bird-eye view. Wear walking shoes, you’ll regret if you choose not to.
