SAND
VALLEY
,
I’ve been incredibly lucky to golf
some amazing courses around the
world and this one is easily one of
my top five.

Four of us drove to central Wisconsin
four two days and 36 holes of golf at
two courses under Sand Valley Golf
Resorts umbrella.

It’s hard to get to and I think it was
designed that way to be a quiet
getaway in what feels far from the
Midwest.

We stayed at the resort
largely because there isn’t a
great hotel within a half
hour drive but it was worth
it to get to walk out of our
room onto the first tee and
practice green.

The room was nice and
simple, and the staff and
service was incredible but
the benefit was being so
close to where we were
playing.

There are two courses to
the resort, Mammoth
Dunes and Sand Valley and
of course we played both.
From what we heard
Mammoth was easier than
Sand Valley and I’m one
case but it definitely played
true for me.

I love both and they had
similarities but Mammoth
Dunes just had a little more
character. I absolutely
suggest making time for
both unless you’re planning
to play the other top
courses in the state during
the same trip.
