November 2019
Iceland

In November 2019 I decided to go to
Iceland.
,
I had been dreaming of
going for a long time, but
never did because it’s not
exactly cheap.

I chose to go in November
because it’s low season, so
slightly cheaper, and I
hoped to see the Northern
Lights (only visible in
Winter).

DAY ONE
Golden circle

Sunsets can be quite interesting in
Iceland.
,
DAY TWO
Southern Coast
,
Vik in the morning
,

,
I chose November for prices and the
Aurora Borealis, but the light during the
day was actually the best surprise.

The sun was always low in the horizon,
offering a special light.

DAY THREE

Met wild reindeers...

... and the cute icelandic horses
,
Road no. 1 is mostly straight and
loooooooong

,
remember what I said about light?

Driving West
DAY FOUR
, ,
Driving in frozen roads
,
We drove down secondary roads and
met these guys who got stuck in the
snow. I don’t know how much they must
have paid to be helped out.

Sunset no. 4

We finally saw the Northern Lights!

It was cloudy and rainy in Reykjavík, but
still very colorful.

DAY SEVEN

Iceland is one of the
most beautiful places
I’ve been to and
definitely a
photographer’s
paradise.
