Across much of southeastern Ontario,
Canada, the land was gripped by a
relentless winter storm that created
both visually amazing - yet dangerous -
A sight to behold for sure, but not
without cost. Downed power lines and
sub-zero temperatures led to days long
outages that endangered many people
who were forced to run gas stoves and
generators to stay warm. Less affected
families and neighbours opened their
homes to those who weren't so lucky.
Looking outside in awe, I ventured out to
take these photos, gritting my teeth and
wearing ice cleats on my boots.
Totally worth it.
