Visiting the peaceful “Prinsentuin” is a good
idea after a long day of walking. Relax in the
garden and admire all the flowers. This
garden belongs to the “Prinsenhof” which
was build for the royal family to stay in when
they would visit Groningen.

The view from the top of the Martini Tower! After a
climb through the small staircase you have the
highest view over Groningen. Since the Groningers
love their tower so much, no other building may be
built higher then the Martini tower (which is 97m
high)

Rent some bikes
and cycle to the
“Stadspark”! Here
the locals come to
escape the city, to
stroll through the
park and to spot
some wildlife
