Gifu is a prefecture located in the
heart of Japan, home to traditional
mountain villages. People from all
over the world flock to this part of
Japan because of it’s beauty — but
amongst the locals it is also known for
it’s industry in traditional Washi
paper, Cormorant fishing on the
Nagara River and sword making from
back in the day.
