While in Edinburgh we met up with @coppernotes.
I’ve known Fiona for 6 years now. There’s never
enough positive words spoken when Fiona pops into
conversation. From being the crazy dog lady I
spotted posting stories on Steller in the first year, to
the great friend she has become.

We went to                          . The funny thing was
I’d recognized so many of the different scenes
from Fiona’s stories. It was a really scenic place
and we walked for about 2 hours.

The weird thing about this is I took some
of my best shots in these two hours,
probably at times I wasn’t concentrating
too much. I think that when you purposely
go out to shoot you put too much pressure
on getting the shot (or at least I do), but
this was proof to me that just bringing a
camera along, even if it’s not your prime
focus, is totally worth it.

Oh and Harris came along,
he was the most photographed attendee.

The chillest dog you’ve ever met!

The stormy scenes were perfect to capture.
Thankful for the powerhouse that is the 27mm
lens! I only have one lens and it’s a beast!

On the last bit of the walk I saw Fiona walk by
some ferns and the  colors matched so I asked her
to go stand in the middle of some ferns. Luckily
she was more than happy to do so!
