cultivated by enslaved African
Americans until emancipation.
You might recognize the front of
this antebellum from the movie
Django Unchained. Some of the
scenes were filmed here.
The buildings with the most
significance are the 22 slave
quarters, arranged in a double row
along an alley of oak trees.
