Part 1

Our 6th day trekking the Annapurna
Circuit and we had the first steep climb
ahead of us that would split the day into
two parts.

Leaving Upper Pisang we would be
taking the trail that switched back and
forth in continued ascent up to Ghyaru.

As tough as it was, every second was still
enjoyable and there was always a chance
to rest, take in the view and make some
photos.....

The first part of the trail was
through sparse pine woodlands.

I’m not sure if this was a gompa or
an old prayer wheel site but it was
amazing how many stones, many

was always someone else with a
heavier load to carry so we

Stay hydrated folks, even the
horses were smarter than me as I
definitely didn’t take on enough

That’s it for the first part of Day 6.

Day 6 I took so many photos and the
day felt so varied that I thought its best
to split this story in a couple of parts.
