Perfect for breakfast and a
snack, here is how you can
start the week well with a
slice of banana bread.  A
typical American dessert
that is eaten for breakfast.
There are many versions
on the web, I tried to make
the one more faithful to
the original also by
consulting my American
recipe books.

250g of 00 flour
4 very ripe bananas
140g of sugar
80g of yogurt
100g of toasted walnuts
90 of butter
2 eggs
1 teaspoon of baking soda
half a teaspoon of
half a teaspoon of nutmeg
1 pinch of salt
How to do:

Mix the flour with the
sugar, spices, baking soda
and salt in a bowl.
Melt the butter, chop the
walnuts and mash 3
Mix the bananas with the
yogurt and eggs.
Incorporate the butter and
add the dry part to the wet
Peel the last banana and
make two fairly thin slices
and place them on the
surface as shown to show
Cook in a hot oven at 190 °
C for about 50-60
minutes.  Always try the
toothpick test.
Remove from the oven
and let cool.
