Idstein Castle, later the
Renaissance style Schloss
Idstein, is located in
Idstein in the county of
Rheingau-Taunus, Germany. The
hill castle was the residence
of Nassau-Idstein. The
castle's Witches' Tower is
one of the town's oldest
buildings and a substantial
local landmark.
The Schloss Garden had roses, and
beautiful flowers to admire. I took a few
moments to just admire the smells, and the
beauty of the castle.
Heading back to the city center
for some lunch.
You can’t come to a
German town without
enjoy a schnitzel.
