There are 15 inhabited
islands and hundreds of
uninhabited isles and
skerries
Lewis is the largest of the
Outer Hebrides and on the
East side of the island is
located the only real town
of the archipelago,
Stornoway.
Although part of the same
landmass, Harris is
considered another island
and it has a character all of
its own.
